Contracting. Rewired.

Built in Lawrence, Kansas

VoltCare is a software company. We build the tools that run a contracting business: bids, dispatch, crews, the clock and the paperwork. One honest record ties the contractor, the technician and the homeowner together.

We don't do the work ourselves. The contractors on VoltCare are independent, licensed local companies, with their own name on the truck and their own workmanship behind every job. We make sure the business side never gets in their way.

Built by someone who has worked in the trades

VoltCare was founded by Brian Sutherland, whose 18+ years in the trades span HVAC, industrial controls, commercial electrical, residential electrical.

Most contractor software is designed from the office down. VoltCare is designed from the jobsite up, by somebody who has bid the work, pulled the wire and waited on the part.

How we keep it honest

• Your words, untouched. When a homeowner reports a problem, exactly what they said goes to the contractor. Nobody paraphrases it, and no bot's summary stands in for it.
• A job closes only when both sides agree. A job is done when the homeowner says it's done and the pro says it's done. Either side can flag a problem in their own words, and the job stays open until a person sorts it out.
• Equal footing. Contractors, technicians and homeowners each see the same facts about the same job. That's how trust gets built on both ends of the truck.
